Dive into the refreshing waters of our heated community swimming pool, open during the summer months and maintained at a comfortable 24 degrees Celsius or above. Set up a picnic on the lawn, take a dip in the 1.70m deep, 33m long pool, and join in the fun. Please note access to the pool is by key which is available at the reception of Millers Flat Holiday Park just down the road. Safety precautions should be taken as there is no lifeguard on duty.

Just 50 metres from Millers Flat Holiday Park, the new Millers Flat Recreation Domain has become a standout family attraction in Central Otago, featuring a modern pump track, multi-use tennis and pickleball courts, upgraded playground, picnic areas, and open community spaces for visitors of all ages.

The Teviot Valley through to Roxburgh is renowned for its abundant orchards and the variety of delicious fruits that thrive in its fertile soils. When exploring this fruitful area, you can expect to find an array of mouthwatering fruits such as cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, and apples. Benger @ Faigan’s Cafe and Bakery is a go-to for coffee and meals, and a great selection of cabinet foods with fresh bread available on Saturdays - a short walk from the park.

Exercise caution while crossing the bridge and soak in the tranquility before retracing your steps.

Access the bridge through the picturesque Island Block area, offering excellent river views and glimpses of gold dredge ponds. Plan for a return walk of approximately 1.5 hours and make sure to visit the adjacent 'Lonely Graves,' where a touching tale unfolds.

Experience a step back in time at the Bakehouse Museum in Millers Flat est. 1908. Immerse yourself in history as you explore the meticulously restored museum building, complete with a working brick oven. Open from 11:30 am to 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays (during the summer season), or by arrangement, this community-run museum welcomes visitors with free entry, although donations are greatly appreciated.
